TTD gets ready for Brahmotsavam
Tirupati, Sep 18 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made all arrangements for the nine-day Navaratri Brahmotsavam which will begin on September 25 at Tirumala Temple here.
TTD executive officer A P V N Sarma and Temple JEO G Balaramaiah, accompanied by other senior officials, inspected the preparations in four mada streets of Srivari Temple.
They inspected the galleries, lighting arrangements and barricades which were set up to facilitate a hassle-free witnessing of the procession carrying the deity.
As part of the arrangements arches and cutouts were erected at important locations in Tirupati and Tirumala to welcome the pilgrims.
Mr Sarma also asked APSRTC to increase the frequency of bus services between Tirupati and Tirumala to meet the extra rush of pilgrims for the festivals.
As part of security measures, checking and patrolling operations on important routes were scaled up.
