TTD employees strike continues

Tirupati, Sep 18 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) employees continued their hunger strike for the 16th day today, demanding house sites, among other things and prevented the officials and employees from entering in the administrative building here.

The employees squatted before the entrance of the building and shouted slogans, protesting against the officials entry in the building.

Only TTD Executive Officer A P V N Sarma was allowed to enter inside.

The security was tightened in the administrative premises to avoid any untoward incident, police said.
