Train passengers looted

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) Passengers of 308-Dn Hajipur-Barauni train has been robbed off their belongings near Nandni-Lagunia village between Patori and Mohaddi Nagar railway stations under East Central Railway.

Police said that about 15 armed criminals boarded the train at Patori station and looted passengers yesterday. The robbers fled away before the train reached Mohaddi Nagar station.

A number of passengers were injured when they tried to resist the criminals. Valuables worth thousands of rupees were taken away by the robbers, police added.
