3 school children crushed to death

Maharajganj, Sep 18: Three school children were killed and four others severely injured after a vehicle hit them in Gorakhpur district today.

Police said the accident occurred in Kahrauli village under Campiyarganj police station area, in which Shyam (12), Satish (10) and Panne (12) were crushed to death, while four others sustained grave injuries.The injured were rushed to Gorakhpur Medical College.

The driver fled after the incident.

A case was registered and a hunt was on to nab the driver.
