Rains likely in Kolkata in next 24 hours

Kolkata, Sep 17 (UNI) The Kolkatans today experienced a very hot and sultry climate as there had been no rainfall in the city for the past one week.

The Met officials said the monsoon is very weak, however, it might rain in the next 24 hours.

The Met department forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder showers at isolated places.

The maximum temperature was recorded today at 34.5 degree Celsius and the minimum 27 degree Celsius.

The maximum relative humidity is 93 per cent and minimum is 60 per cent.
