Madhu Koda sworn-in as Jharkhand Chief Minister
Ranchi, Sept 18: UPA-backed Independent MLA Madhu Koda, was today sworn-in as the fourth Chief Minister of Jharkhand by Governor Syed Sibtey Razi at the historic Morhabadi ground here.
Three ministers, Mr Enos Ekka, Mr Kamlesh Singh and Mr Hari Narayan Rai, were also administered the oaths of office and secrecy.
Significantly, all four had resigned on September 5 from the erstwhile Arjun Munda-led NDA government reducing it to a minority.
Prominent among those present at the swearing-in ceremony were Coal Minister Sibu Soren, Union Food Processing Minister Subodh Kant Sahay, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Speaker Inder Singh Namdhari and former Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi.
Three former rebel ministers of erstwhile arjun munda government also take oath.
