Lightning kills 5 in MP; 6 hurt

Bhopal, Sep 18 (UNI) Five people, including two children, were killed and six injured in lightning-related incidents across Madhya Pradesh overnight, police said.

Suman (8), Raku (10) and Resham (30) died after their house on a farm was struck by lightning at around noon in Indore district's Naharkhedi village. Those injured were hospitalised at Maanpur.

Nepal Singh Lodhi was killed while grazing animals in Rajgarh district's Khanota village while Jaseena Bai died within Jeerapur police station limits.
