Hutch reduces rates for calls made across Punjab

Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) Telecom major Hutch today introduced its special tariff voucher for its prepaid subscribers in Punjab, which would reduce rates for calls made across the border state.

The one month-validity voucher offers local calls from Hutch-to-Hutch at 30 paisa per minute, Hutch-to-mobile calls at 49 paisa per minute and Hutch-to-landline calls at 99 paisa per minute.

''This offer will help in connecting our large customer base across Punjab with added benefits of reduced call rates and will be a significant proportion of the monthly mobile expenditure for Hutch customers,'' Hutch (Punjab) CEO Arun Kapoor said today.

These reduced call rates are applicable across Punjab.

The scheme offers prepaid customers maximum value for money and is beneficial for customers who have high usage of outgoing calls, Mr Kapoor said.
