Hot and humid climate in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Sep 18 (UNI) Hot and humid conditions prevailed in most areas while sporadic rains were reported in southern and eastern parts of the state.
According to the reports from the Weather Office and Irrigation Department in the last twenty four hours southern district of Banswara received rain fall at few places. While Gadi teshil reported 29 mm of rain fall Loharia 20mm, Jagpura 14mm, Salupat 10mm, Ardhna 13 mm and Kushalgarh 7 mm of rain fall in the district.
Udaipur district's Dhariabad experienced 7 mm of rain fall while Gaziakot in Dungarpur district' reported 10mm.
Arnod in Chittorgarh district reported 8mm, Daras in Kota district 10 mm of rain. Kali Sindh in Jhalawar reported 5mm, Sapotra in Karoli district 10mm of rain. Nazirabad in Ajmer district 6 mm of rain fall while Nandbai tehsil in Bharatpur 21mm rain fall in the last twenty four hours.
State capital Jaipur experienced very hot climate with mercury rising to 38.5 degree Celsius, 5 degrees above normal while the minimum temperature was 23 degree Celsius.
