Heavy rain experienced in Surat

Surat, Sep 18 (UNI) Various talukas in Surat have experienced heavy rainfall till this morning, district flood control room informed.

According to the district flood control room records, rainfall recorded in various talukas and the city till today morning are- Bardoli-30 mm, Choryasi-20 mm., Kamrej-10 mm., Mahuva-44 mm., Mandvi-30 mm., Mangrol-0, Nizar-0, Olpad-15 mm, Palsana-35 mm, Sonagadh-21 mm., Surat City-23 mm., Uchhal-08 mm., Umarawada-0, Valod-13 mm. and Vyara-34 mm.

A low pressure is noticed in the Arabian Sea and heavy rainfall is expected in the district for the next 48 hours, informed the district flood control room.
