Fire in plastic factory, one killed

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) One person was charred to death in a factory fire in Geeta Colony area of East Delhi early morning today.

The fire, which began at a plastic material packing factory In Ram Nagar Krishna Nagar area of Geeta Colony at about 0550 hrs, was put out within two hours, said the Fire Brigade sources.

''The operation stopped at 0830 hrs.'' Six fire tenders had been sent for the roscue work.

The charred remains of a factory worker, Gopal (25), was recovered by the rescue team. No one else was injured, it added.
