CPI(ML) will not support Koda govt in Jharkhand

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) CPI (ML) General Secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya today ruled out his party's support to the Madhu Koda led UPA government during the trial of strength in Jharkhand Assembly.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Bhattacharya said some UPA leaders were making statements to create an impression that CPI (ML) would support the Koda government, but there was no truth in it.

He said some UPA leaders had contacted the lone CPI(ML) MLA in Jharkhand, but no assurance was given regarding support to the new government.

'' CPI (ML) would play the role of a left opposition in Jharkhand Assembly,'' Mr Bhattacharya reiterated.
