Bartronics India ties up with Sri Lanka's Hayleys Group
ew Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) Bartronics India Ltd has tied up with Sri Lanka-based Hayleys Group to develop and market identification devices such as barcodes and smart cards in the island country.
According to the agreement, products like radio frequency identification devices and other data capturing and security solutions, will be marketed through Hayley' logistics subsidiary Logiventures Ltd, a company statement said here today.
These solutions will be customised for applications in retailing, manufacturing, assembly, logistics and healthcare to cater to different needs for identification, tracking, inventory management among others.
''The agreement envisages that the two companies will collaborate in identifying, marketing, planning, designing, component-sourcing, system development and implementation for prospective customers,'' the statement added.
The Bartronics product range includes barcode scanners, printers, decoders, smart card readers, data collection terminals radio frequency and infra red based equipment among others.
Logiventures is part of the Hayley Group through Hayleys Advantis Ltd. Logiventures offers sale and hire of empty containers, converted containers, packaging, cargo handling and transportation, storage facilities and other logistics services.
Last month, Bartronics' board approved the proposal to borrow Rs 250 crore that will include foreign borrowings like foreign currency convertible bonds, foreign currency bonds etc.
