Akali MLA Gaganjit granted bail in rape case

Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) A local court today granted bail to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) legislator Gaganjit Singh in a rape case of a maid, in which he had been arrested on August 12.

Additional District and Sessions Judge R S Baswana allowed the bail application of the MLA from Dhuri after listening to the arguments of the defense counsel and the public prosecutor.
