Warm, humid weather persists in capital

New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) With no sign of rains, warm and humid weather persisted in the national capital today as the maximum temperature touched 35.6 degrees Celsius.

Despite an overcast sky right through the day, the humidity soared to 92 per cent. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees celsius.

The Met department said while the maximum was two degrees above normal, the minimum was a degree above normal.

Weatherman has forecast scattered showers in parts of NorthWest India, including the national capital. In fact, cloudy weather is likely to prevail in Delhi for the next few days.

The weather office has forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas of Delhi during the next 24 hours.

Delhi was lashed by heavy rains on Thursday.
