Venue of Session is in for last minute change
Hubli, Sep 17 (UNI) The venue of special session of the Karnataka legislature scheduled to be held at Jirge auditorium and Gandharva hall in Belgaum is in for last minute changes.
According to official sources, it has been decided to hold the session at Jirge auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical college premises and another hall in the same premises instead of Gandharva hall, which has some sound system problems. Final decision to this effect would be taken late after due consultations with Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy.
Meanwhile, pro Kannada organizations in Belgaum criticized the Governor T N Chaturvedi refusing to take part in the historic session.
At an emergent meeting at Belgaum today the organizations decided to hoist flags in the city starting from Fort to the session venue welcoming the decision of the government to hold a special session at Belgaum.
