Two soldiers killed, one wounded as troops clash in Kashmir
Baramulla, Sep 17 (UNI) Two soldiers were killed and one wounded when troops of Army Service Corps (ASC) opened fire on each other following an altercation over some matter in Karnah tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir's frontier district of Kupwara today, police said.
The Superintendent of Police (SP), Kupwara said ASC troops clashed with each other over some matter in the border area of Karnah.
The altercation soon led the troops to open fire on each other, resulting in the death of two soldiers and injury to another, he added.
The SP said the Karnah police station has registered a case and started investigations.
He said the Army was also likely to conduct its own inquiry into the incident.
