Stage set for tomorrow's oath taking for Koda as J'khand CM
Ranchi, Sep 7 (UNI) With supporters swelling particulalry from the people from his native Patahatu village invited with special instruction from Chief Minister desigante Madhu Koda, the authorities have taken all possible measures to ensure a smooth oath taking ceremony to be held at the historic Morhabadi ground tomorrow.
Mr Koda instructed Chief Secretary M K Mandal to issue invitation cards to all people in his native place and ensure smooth ferrying of his race from where he started his political career.
Security had been tightened, and senior government officials monitoring the arrangements today said adding Chief Secretary M K Mandal and DGP V D Ram were personally inspecting the venue to avoid any hiccup in the run up to tomorrow's function.
Mr Koda had earlier urged Governor Syed Sibtey Razi to hold the function at Birsa Chowk near the Assembly premises, but it was not obliged on security ground.
Among special invitees, outgoing Chief Minister Arjun Munda had confirmed his participation at the function scheduled to begin at 1500 hrs.
