Silent valley personal products launched in India

Jammu, Sep 17 (UNI) The Chennai-based SFP Sons (India) Inc, engaged in manufacturing personal care products today launched the range of hair and skin care products, for the first time in the country under the brand name of Silent Valley here.

''Jammu and kashmir, being one the major consumer states of these products, the company has chosen city of temples for formal launching of the products in the country,'' SFP Sons Director Jagdish Patel told reporters.

Mr Patel said the 100 per cent ISO 9001 EOU certified company, started just from a small unit in 1992, and became a Rs 40 crore company by the end of the last fiscal, all from export realisation.

He was confident enough to say that with an average of 25 per cent annual growth, coupled with launching of the product range in India, the company is likely to register over Rs 50 crore turnover during current fiscal.

Mr patel said company has infused over Rs 30 crore of investment to set up modern technology based plant and tied up with French and German companies for production of premium quality skin and hair products, added with natural essential extracts for soothing effect.

The company will capture five per cent share of cosmetics and perfumery market in India by the end of next fiscal year with more products were in pipeline to be launched, he added.
