Rain delays start of second ODI in South Africa

Written by: Staff

EAST LONDON, South Africa, Sep 17 (Reuters) Rain delayed the start of the second one-day international between South Africa and Zimbabwe in East London today.

The match was scheduled to start at 0800 GMT but prospects for play do not look favourable and umpires will now inspect the ground at 1300 GMT.

South Africa won the first game in the three-match series by five wickets in Bloemfontein on Friday.

The teams are scheduled to meet again in Potchefstroom on Wednesday.
