Palestinian rocket wounds man in Israeli town
JERUSALEM, Sep 17 (Reuters) Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired a rocket at the Israeli border town of Sderot today, lightly wounding one man, the Israeli army said.
Sderot has been frequently targeted by militants waging a 6-year-old uprising against the Jewish state.
Previous rocket attacks that have wounded people have triggered major Israeli military action in Gaza.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for today's attack.
