Monsoon active over Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 17 (UNI) The South West monsoon has been active over Kerala and Lakshwadeep, with most places receiving heavy rains.
Karipur airpot and Perinthalmanna recorded the maximum rainfall of seven cm, the Local Met office said here.
Kozhikode received six cm of rain, followed by Aminideep and Alwaye -- four cm each.
Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur received three cm, the Met office said.
It also forecast isolated heavy rains over Kerala in the next 48 hrs.
