Modi celebrates b'day in Vadnagar village
Palanpur, Sep 17 (UNI) Chief Minister Narendra Modi may be a controversial figure but in his native village, Vadnagar, he is an amiable son for elders Narendrabhai, for youth.
No wonder Mr Modi's 57th birthday was celebrated by offering prayers in Hatkeswar, Gauri Temple and at Lok Kalyan Trust in Vadanagar today, according to Sunil Mehta, vice president of BJP Youth wing, Mehsana District.
A large number of people of Vadanagar, including women and children, prayed for his longevity and also to keep him free from troubles. Mr Modi's classmates besides paying a visit to his ancestral house and distributing sweets, reminiscenced their days in school or at the college with Mr Modi.
