Jain case: Commission conducts hearing
Bhopal, Sep 17 (UNI) A Commission, inquiring into the death of the then Deputy Commissioner (Commercial Tax) R K Jain in Lokayukta Police custody, today recorded statements of the deceased's wife Indu and brother Indrajeet.
The duo also submitted an application to Commission Member D S Solanki, who is also the district and Session Judge, Raisen, requesting that the Commission's action be postponed as a criminal case was sub judice in the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The government was represented by Advocate Harish Mehta and Commission Secretary K K Singh was also present. September 24 was fixed as the next date for hearing.
Mr Jain died about two years back.
