Italian aid worker killed in Somalia

MOGADISHU, Sep 17 (Reuters) An Italian aid worker was shot and killed today in Mogadishu in the latest attack on foreigners working in Somalia, medical staff said.

After an operation on the woman, whom some witnesses identified as a nun working at a children's hospital in north Mogadishu, medical staff told a Reuters television reporter that she had died from her injuries.
