Four motorcyclists knocked down by an unknown vehicle

Hubli, Sep 17 (UNI) Four people, all youngsters were killed when their motorcycle in which they were traveling were knocked down by an unknown vehicle near Varkoppa halla bridge near Soundatti in Belgaum district last night.

According to police the deceased who were involved in the accident were identified as Manjunath Patil (26) of Sidnal village of Ramdurg taluk and Prakash Dyamangoudar (26), Mahadev Bhuvannavar (26) and Balappa Kalled (24) all Totagatti village of Ramdurg taluk in Belgaum district were going on a motorcycle.

The search for the vehicle involved in the mishap was on, police added.
