Four-member committee arrives in Pondy

Pondicherry, Sep 17 (UNI) A four-member committee of MPs local area development scheme (Rajya Sabha) led by Rehman Khan arrived here this evening on a two day visit to the union territory.

The team comprising of C Perumal, M V Mysora Reddy, Rajnithi Prasad and Khan inspected the 'Kamban Kalai Arangam' as part of examination of buildings constructed utilising the MPs area development fund.

According to offical sources here, the committee would hold discussions with Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Chief Secretary Pradeep Mehra tomorrow before leaving for Karaikal region.
