DGP absent at tourney inaugural

Indore, Sep 17 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh DGP Swaraj Puri, against whom a local court ordered a probe -- on September 15 -- in a certain case, was a notable absentee at the opening ceremony of the state police's 45th Annual Sports Tournament that got underway here.

The top officer was scheduled to be present yesterday along with Public Works Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya.
