Bus-truck collision kills 17, injures 25
Udaipur, Sep 17 (UNI) Seventeen people, including 14 women and two children, were killed and 25 others injured when the bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan today.
Police Superintendent (Rajsamand) Rupendra Singh told UNI that the accident occurred when a Jaipur-bound private bus coach from Udaipur collided with a truck near Morchana village between Rajsamand and Kelwa.
Five people, who were seriously injured, were taken to a hospital in Udaipur and the rest were admitted in Rajsamand. The deceased have not been identified yet.
