Asiad camp: Rana wins 25-m std pistol event

Indore, Sep 17 (UNI) Ace marksman Jaspal Rana has bagged top spot with 572 points in the 25-m standard pistol event at the 15th Asian Games selection camp underway here.

At the Reoti Range of the BSF's Central School of Weapons and Tactics yesterday, the CISF's Samresh Jung took second place with 568 while the third position went to the Army's Harpreet Singh.

In the women's 25-m sports pistol event, CISF's Sonia Rai won with 772.6 points while the second and third spots went to the Railway's Aneesa Sayyed 766.1 and Indian's (formerly IA) Annuraj Singh 759.5.

In the 50-m rifle three-position event, the honours went to Army's Meena Kumari, Indian's Pooja Reddy and Maharashtra's Anjali Bhagwat respectively.
