APCC celebrates Hyderabad Liberation Day

Hyderabad, Sep 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao today called upon party workers to remember the sacrifices made by great leaders during the freedom struggle.

Participating in the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at the party headquarters 'Gandhi Bhavan' here, Dr Rao said the present generation should remember the great services rendered by the freedom fighters and follow their fighting spirit.

The APCC chief honoured 94-year-old Seethal Singh Kalakamantri, who fought against the Nizam's rule along with ten other freedom fighters.

A large number of party workers took part in the function.
