Warm, humid weather returns to capital
New Delhi, Sep 16 (UNI) After two days of cool weather, warm and humid conditions returned today even as an overcast sky held forth hopes for some rains during next few days.
High humidity of nearly 60 per cent, coupled with a windless air, led to a rise in maximum temperature to 35 degrees Celsius, from 33.8 yesterday.
Weathermen have forecast scattered showers in parts of NorthWest India, including the national capital. Yesterday too, some areas of Punjab and Haryana received some rainfall.
In fact, cloudy weather is likely to prevail in Delhi for the next few days.
The weather office has forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas of Delhi during the next 24 hours.
The last few days have witnessed a cool weather in Delhi following heavy rains on Thursday.
