Two women electrocuted

Vizianagaram, Sep 16 (UNI) Two women were electrocuted at their residence here today.

The deceased were Dr Y Sobharani (35) of T B Hospital and her mother Peripoornamma (60), police said.

The incident occurred when Dr Sobharani came in contact with a livewire, while trying to spread washed clothes on the terrace of her house.

Paripoornamma, who came to rescue her daughter was also electrocuted.

Later, the bodies were shifted to Government Hospital for post-mortem.
