Two kg heroin recovered from South African national

Ludhiana, Sep 16 (UNI) The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized two kg heroin from a South African national in the Millerganj area this morning.

The drug is worth Rs two crore in the international market.

DRI officals said that the South African identified as Michael Khemdy was planning to sell the heroin in the local market when he was taken into custody. He had come here from New Delhi in the morning via Chandigarh.

The alleged culprit had been booked under the NDPS Act.
