Three doctors and 15 paramedics suspended in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended three doctors and 15 paramedical staff in south Kashmir, an official spokesman said.
He said Minister of State for Health and Power Peer Mohammad Hussain conducted a surprise visit to different hospitals in Anantnag district and ordered suspension of three doctors and 15 paramedics.
He said at sub-district hospital Qazigund, the Minister inquired about the medical facilities being provided to the patients.
While taking round of different wards of the hospital the minister checked the attendance register and found three doctors and 15 para medical staff absent from duty.
He ordered the accompanying Deputy Director Health to suspend the absentees.
He also inspected the pace of work of the primary health centre being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.50 crore.
He was informed that Rs one crore has been incurred on the construction till date and is expected to be completed by March next.
