Sonia Gandhi to visit AP on Sep 27

Hyderabad, Sep 16 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi will visit Andhra Pradesh on September 27.

Party sources said the UPA chairperson would reach Renigunta airport on September 27 morning and immediately proceed to Kadapa where she would inaugurate the Rajiv Insititute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).

She would also release water to 50,000 acres from Brahma Sagar reservoir as part of the Telugu Ganga Project. Later, she would proceed to Kurnool after addresing a public meeting in Kadapa, the sources added.

Ms Gandhi would inaugurate the late Chief Minister K Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Ghat and address a public meeting. She would return to New Delhi on the same day, it added.
