Singh accepts Musharraf's invite to visit Islamabad

Havana, Sep 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today accepted an invitation from Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to visit Islamabad at an early date.

The invitation was extended by Gen Musharraf during his meeting with Dr Singh here on the margins of the NAM summit.

A joint statement issued at the end of the talks said Gen Musharraf invited Dr Singh to visit Pakistan.

The Prime Minister indicated that he looked forward to a purposeful visit at a time to be determined through diplomatic channels.
