Oppn MLAs to visit Ujjain tomorrow

Ujjain, MP, Sep 16 (UNI) Legislators of all opposition parties in Madhya Pradesh will reach here tomorrow to look into the aspects relating to the alleged murder of Professor H S Sabharwal in student violence on August 26.

Talking to mediapersons here today, District Congress Committee President Batukshankar Joshi accused the BJP Government of shielding the accused.

He said the Congress demand for a CBI inquiry into the matter had been ignored.

Opposition parties legislators -- including Ramniwas Rawat (Congress), Dr Sunilam (SP), Ram Lakhan Verma of the CPI(M), Hamid Qazi (NCP), Manmohan Bhatti (GGP), Saroj Bachchan of the JD(U) and Dr I M P Verma (BSP) -- will reach here tomorrow afternoon.

The legislators will go to Prof Sabharwal's home and gather details related to the case.
