Mother, sons killed by miscreants

Sitapur, Sep 16: A woman and her two sons were allegedly hacked to death by some unidentified miscreants here today.

The culprits barged into the house of one Ramswaroop, a resident of Adarshnagar and attacked Shanti Devi (65), Munna (40) and Rampal (30) with sharp-edged weapons. They died on the spot, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, cops reached the spot and arrested the accused Rajaram, Virendra and Kishor.Their aide, however, managed to escape.

Shanti's daughter was missing since couple of weeks following which, Pappu and others were nabbed and sent to jail. After being released from jail, they planned the murder, police added.

A case has registered and a manhunt launched to arrest their aide.
