LJP to contest all seats in UP polls

Jaunpur, Sep 16 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) today said it would field candidates on all seats in the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls due early next year.

LJP state unit spokesman Raj Kishore told mediapersons here that the party would fight the 2007 polls on its own and the selection of candidates was on.

Expressing concern over the ''dismal'' law and order situation and lack of basic amenities like water and electricity in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Kishore slammed the Samajwadi Party-led state government for failing on all fronts.

He alleged Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was only interested in benefitting big industrialists and was least concerned about the welfare of people.
