Lalpath Labs makes foray into South India
Bangalore, Sep 16 (UNI) Lalpath labs, the world-class diagnostic services chain having a wide footprint in North India, made its foray into the southern region by opening its lab in the city today.
Speaking to newspersons here, company Chairman and Managing Director Dr Arvind Lal said the India's largest pathology chain, which had its presence in 400 cities and towns in North India and tested 6,000 samples a day, would be expanding its presence in South India. Its next destination would be Hyderabad, where its lab would be opened in three months, and Chennai thereafter.
He said the company, which had 20 labs, would increase its network to 50 in three years.
The newly opened lab in the city was equipped with fully automated laboratory instrumentation with a bi-directional interface which ensured an error-free diagnosis in the shortest possible time.
The lab would offer economical, yet effective health check-ups and special packages for different segments of the society like women, children and executives to promote preventive healthcare, he added.
