India upset defending champions Korea

Chennai, Sep 16 (UNI) India toppled defending champions Korea 3-1 in the quarter final rounds of the Asian Junior Men's Volleyball championship at Teheran in Iran today.

According to information received by the Volleyball Federation of India(VFI) here, India dropped the first set, before regrouping well to take the next three games and win 20-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-12.

Earlier, India topped the group with victories over Yemen, Thailand and Pakistan.

India will meet Japan tomorrow.
