Daughter of British school teacher murdered
LONDON, Sep 16 (Reuters) British police said today they were investigating the murder of the daughter of a teacher at one of the country's most exclusive private schools.
Lucy Braham, 25, was found stabbed to death at her parents' house in the grounds of Harrow School in northwest London late on Thursday night.
Her father is the director of art at the boys boarding school, where annual fees cost around 25,000 pounds a year.
Detectives said they had arrested a man, believed to be in his 20s, who they found at the house also suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to west London hospital where he is in a critical condition.
''We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident,'' a police spokesman said.
Media reports said the man was the son of another teacher at the school.
''There was a serious incident in a property owned by the school.
No pupils from the school were involved,'' the school said in a statement.
''Residents of the Harrow community are deeply shocked by this tragedy and the school wishes to extend its greatest sympathy to the families of those involved.'' REUTERS PB ND1306
