Cops arrested while accepting bribe in Bihar

Hajipur, Sep 16 (UNI) Two cops, including an officer-in-charge of Ganga bridge police station in Vaishali district, were caught red handed today while accepting bribe from a truck owner.

Police said here that DIG of Muzaffarpur range Gupteshwar Pandey caught officer-in-charge Sashibhushan Prasad and assistant sub-inspector M P Verma red handed when they were accepting Rs 5000 from a truck owner.

Arrested cops were being interrogated, police added.
