Bring down Carbon emission to save Earth

Visakhapatnam, Sep 16 (UNI) The Carbon emission must be brought down drastically to protect the depleting Ozone layer, noted environmentalist T Shivaji Rao said today.

Speaking at a fuction organised by Gitam College here to celebrate 'World Ozone Day,' Mr Rao said necessary measures must be taken on war-footing to save life on earth.

College Principal Prof N Lakshmana Das said there was an urgent need for advanced research in environment related fields to preserve life in this planet.
