Air Chief visits Kalaikunda Air Base

Midnapore, Sep 16 (UNI) Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi, visited Air Force Station at Kalaikunda Air Base today and expressed satisfaction at the infrastructure brought up to match international standards.

''I am happy that the base recently hosted two major international exercises with the US Air Force and Republic of Singapore Air Force,'' he said.

He also addressed the Air Warriors of the Base.

The Chief of Air Staff chaired a seminar on air power conducted under the aegis of Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi.

The seminar was attended by among others General(Retd.) Shankar Roychowdhury, Air Marshal F H Major and Air Commodore Jasjit Singh.
