Two killed in explosion at fireworks manufacturing unit

Sivakasi, Sep 15 (UNI) Two persons were killed and one injured in an explosion at a private fireworks manufacturing unit in the town today.

Police said the victims and the injured, were engaged in the preparation of fancy fireworks when the chemical mixture exploded.

The deceased identified as K Azhagarsamy (35) and M Karuppaiah (50), belonged to nearby Alamarathupatty village.
