Two die in cracker unit explosion in Sivakasi

Chennai, Sept 15: Two people were charred to death and an equal number injured in an explosion in a cracker manufacturing unit at Sivakasi in the southern district of Tamil Nadu today.

Police sources told sources here that two rooms of the crackermanufacture unit were completely damaged in the explosion.

The victims were engaged in manufacture of fireworks when the explosion occurred due to a friction.

The injured were admitted to Government Hospital, Sivakasi.
