TRS stage dharna alleging injustice to Telangana

Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) The Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) activists today staged a dharna before the Ranga Reddy district collectorate alleging that injustice was being deliberately meted out to the Telangana region by the Andhra Pradesh government.

TRS MLA Chandrasekhar, who led the dharna said the government would have to face the wrath of people if it did not supply enough power to save crops in the Telangana region.

He alleged that the government was not generating power though reservoirs were full as it wanted to divert the water to the Coastal and Rayalaseema regions.

Mr Chandrasekhar warned that his party would continue the agitation till power was supplied for 12 hours a day to save withering crops in the Telangana region.
