SRK Group to launch Rs 200 cr project in Kochi

Kochi, Sep 15 (UNI) The Pune-based land developers SRK Constructions, part of the SRK Group, would launch a Rs 200 crore turnkey apartment project in Kakkanad, considered to be the IT corridor of Kerala, near here.

Talking to reporters here today, Chairman and Managing Director K Rasheed Malik said, the complex would be an environment friendly green building consisting of five blocks with commercial, service and residential apartments.

The apartments would have an area of 2000-5000 square feet and are competitively priced, he said.

Mr Rasheed said the foreign direct investment in Kerala would increase as developemnt projects are coming up in the state.

The complex would have almost 500 apartments and sport all the modern amenities like supermarket, restaurants, club house, health club, swimming pool and tennis courts.

General Manager Sunil K Sridhar said the complex would also have international security standard and latest waste disposal facilities.

The group has offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Kochi and Guruvayoor and has also extended their operations in the UAE, Bahrain, the UK, Hong Kong and the US.

The project would be formally launched at a function here tomorrow.
